Wire free, external passive infra red detection device suitable for use in conjunction with the FM2000 series portable alarm systems.
Typically the 2686 detector is used for lighting and local indication of possible intruders. As external detectors are typically used in exposed locations and are looking for a thermal change within their detection area, great care should be taken when selecting the location and detection area of these devices to minimise as far as possible the level of nuisance alarm conditions.
